Ever since it was first established, one of the aims of the San Marino Chamber of Commerce has been to provide real backing to San Marino companies and implement all the initiatives needed for their growth and promotion. In this perspective, an active contribution towards the promotion of internationalisation has been considered crucial inasmuch as, for San Marino companies, export opportunities are a great chance to extend business and considerably improve competitiveness. In promoting internationalisation, the Chamber of Commerce bases its endeavours on a survey of market requirements in order to determine the actual interest of San Marino firms in exporting their products. By means of specific questionnaires, it has been possible for example to better understand the reasons why companies want to export, how they acquire export information, the methods used to develop contacts and, above all, to draw up a list of countries of interest as export destinations. This has enabled the Chamber of Commerce to promote well-defined targeted initiatives, consistent with the requirements expressed by companies. Activities in support of internationalisation take on various forms: - FOREIGN CLUB - FOREIGN DELEGATION - INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION - SEMINARS |
